    The Project Manager is responsible for achieving project objectives by initiating, planning, implementing and closing projects while managing cost, time and quality constraints.

    The Project Manager will manage customer expectations as related to implementation of services.

    What you will do:
    Project management of technical and non-technical projects (including initiating, planning, implementation, closing, managing resources, cost/schedule control, reporting)
    Re-evaluate Pre-sales design with Operations team to finalize technically deliverable solution.
    Identify and resolve conflicts, misinterpretations and/or misunderstandings with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
    Customer and vendor liaison related to projects.
    Manage relationship with the customer and define expectations

    Conduct regular meetings to review major milestones and deliverables in the project plan and manage ongoing customer expectations throughout the implementation life cycle.

    Managing multiple projects with competing priorities
    Manage project budget, control expenditures, track project costs, and report on cost variances against project budget.
    Project handover to Service Management to enable ongoing support for customer services.
    Complete all project closure activities, including customer sign-off and billing initiation.
    Assist Sales and Pre-Sales with preparation of tenders or proposals (related to project management)
    Develop and manage project documentation (general and project/customer specific)
    Coordinate with Field Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Service Management and Operations teams as required to deliver project requirements.
    Identify changes in project scope and manage the process of internal review and contract variation
    Arrange for Licensing, appropriate inductions, clearances, where required
    Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company HSE policies and procedures.

    Requirements:


    Strong organization, tracking, follow-up and analytical skills with the ability to collect, access and report factual data and present logical conclusions.

    Must be an excellent problem solver and able to accommodate changing priorities and directions.
    Self-starter: seek out potential issues that aren't readily apparent. Able to effectively manage multiple projects/action items and function with minimal supervision is required.

    skills with the ability to work well with a wide range of people, including executive management, in a fast-paced environment.

    GVF certifications a plus.
    Overall VSAT communications knowledge to include products and services.

    What we need from you:
    Bachelor's Degree in computer science information systems, engineering, business or a related field.
    Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent
    Eight (8) years of Telecommunication or satellite communication industry experience
    Five (5) years hands on experience applying Project Management skills and principles.
    Experience within the Cruise Ship Industry
    Knowledge of digital satellite network architectures, broadcast video distribution technologies, mobility services, VSAT platforms.
    Understanding of basic concepts of IP networking, VOIP and QoS
    Solid PC skills including usage of the full MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project
    Excellent communicator and collaborator
    Strong organization, tracking, follow-up and analytical skills
    Communicates clearly, both verbally and written.
    Collaborates / Alignment with teams with different focus and priorities.
