We are hiring IONM Technologists who can work independently and perform routine outpatient and inpatient IONM procedures, collect data pertinent to test results, and assist medical staff with complex recordings.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in neurodiagnostic field, experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring, and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to troubleshoot common monitoring problems, maintain equipment, and follow safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for IONM procedures, document patient history, and set up equipment.
    • Perform tests according to policy and procedures, including electrode application, maintenance of patient safety, and other related duties.
    • Maintain clean testing equipment, sanitize supplies, and report equipment malfunctions.
    • Communicate effectively with patients and higher-level personnel, troubleshoot common artifacts, and edit, type, archive, and store files according to lab policy.
    • Foster a harmonious work environment by promoting cooperation and respect among team members, physicians, and other disciplines.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from an accredited Allied Health Neurodiagnostic Education Program or 2 years' experience as an internal END Tech 2.
    • Three years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field, including one year of experience in their specialty modality of practice.
    • Ability to interpret intraoperative EP, EMG, and EEG independently or under indirect supervision.
    • Familiarity with in-house monitoring equipment, ability to perform basic spine and craniotomy cases, computer literacy, attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.
    • Clear, concise written documentation and interpersonal communication skills, knowledge of current techniques/regulatory standards, BLS certification, and CNIM certification from ABRET.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BS or Master's degree in an allied health education program with completion of an END program.
