    Hope United Survivor Network is a community collaborative working in one location to provide survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, elder abuse and childhood sexual trauma a safe and secure place to receive the help they need. Hope United Survivor Network houses The Family Justice Center, The Lighthouse Children's Advocacy Center, and The Cathy Mabry Cloninger Center - A Domestic Violence Shelter. Our mission is to serve citizens impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, elder abuse, and childhood trauma by providing and coordinating services around survivors and their families. Hope United works in collaboration with community partners to address clients' needs, provide prevention education, and ongoing case management with a focus on increased offender accountability resulting in a safer community.The duties listed below are not all of the duties that may be assigned but are those that are considered as essential for an employee to perform.

    • Provide in person crisis intervention and empowerment based, trauma informed advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse within the criminal and civil court system. Conduct needs assessment and link the survivor to services requested. Assist survivors in developing a safety plan and provide case management services throughout the court process.
    • Educate survivors on the court process and accompany them to hearings, schedule meetings with court staff such as assistant district attorneys, legal assistants. services related to safety and wellbeing as needed.
    • Work in conjunction with the Hope United Survivor Network community staff and the staff of the Cathy Mabry Cloninger Center to assure the continuity of care for survivors and wrap around support.
    • Conduct or attend meetings/outreach opportunities regarding departmental programming.
    • Build a network of resources that contributes to a strong response to those in need.
    • Conduct other duties as assigned by the Director relating to needs and services for survivors.

    Requires an Bachelor's degree from a human services field from an accredited college or university relevant to working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, elder abuse and human trafficking. Licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professional preferred. Two years of directly related experience working with survivors.

    Valid driver's license.

    A copy of a transcript must be included with the application.Minimally qualified applicants will start at 25% of the salary range: $27.89/hr

    The applicant selected must undergo a criminal background check and pass a drug screening test prior to employment
