    Job DescriptionDescription:

    SUMMARY:

    This position is primarily responsible for cleaning clinic area and equipment, assisting clinic personnel with patients, as directed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition

    • Distributes laundered articles and linens, fold and put in proper location
    • Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies
    • Assist clinic personnel with patients, as needed or directed
    • Disposal of trash and biohazard materials, as necessary or directed
    • Serve as a backup check in/check out coordinator
    • Keeps flow of therapy clinic moving
    • Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
    • Reports dysfunctional equipment to the director or overseeing physical therapist
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
    • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:

    The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
