    The Downstream Hardware Field Application Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for providing technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, and promotional events. This role should be able to evaluate a customer's process to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information, and support to obtain additional sales.

    This position is part of the Downstream Hardware Modality located in Bioprocess and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

    What you will do:

    • Provide expert technical knowledge during the sales process by demonstrating superior product, automation, and application understanding for our bioprocess downstream hardware and software.
    • Maintain good communication with customers and gather information on the customers' needs, relaying that information to the sales force to identify present and future customer needs and to enhance customer relations.
    • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training on products and applications within assigned region.
    • Improve customer satisfaction and retention through troubleshooting and continuing education on application of our products in customer processes.
    • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer account sales strategies. Provide competitive product insight and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs to internal stakeholders.

    Who you are:

    • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or relevant field.
    • Over 3 years of Engineering or Scientific experience in Biotech, Pharma, Engineering, or Commercial manufacturing.
    • Ability to travel up to 70%

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    • Chromatography and Filtration manufacturing scale equipment design and advanced operation.
    • Strong working knowledge of Control systems and Instrumentation. Extensive UNICORN/text editing practical experience is desirable.

    This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
