    Position: Data Reporter
    Description:
    Join our dynamic team as a Data Reporter where you'll be at the forefront of uncovering and presenting compelling stories through data-driven journalism. As a skilled storyteller with a knack for analyzing complex datasets, you'll have the opportunity to delve into various topics, from investigative pieces to interactive visualizations. Your role involves mining, cleaning, and interpreting data to craft accurate and engaging narratives that inform and captivate our audience. If you're passionate about combining data analysis with storytelling to drive impactful journalism, we want to hear from you.
    Responsibilities:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Collaborate with journalists, editors, and data scientists to develop data-driven story ideas and projects.
    • Create compelling visualizations, charts, and interactive graphics to enhance storytelling.
    • Conduct in-depth investigations using data to uncover stories of public interest.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new datasets, and emerging tools for data analysis and visualization.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data sources and reporting.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in journalism, data science, statistics, or related field.
    • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization, preferably in a journalistic or storytelling context.
    • Proficiency in data manipulation tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
    • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
    • Familiarity with data journalism techniques and principles.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passion for journalism and a desire to make an impact through data-driven storytelling.
