    Description
    Mark III Construction is currently seeking a HVAC Trainee for the Sacramento area.

    This HVAC Trainee will be responsible for assisting HVAC service technicians with routine repairs along with the knowledge listed below.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain positive relationships with customer. Comprehend directions and retain knowledge.

    Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and adjustments, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operation, and be capable of learning how to do a profitable P.M.

    Determine the cause of, and correct, condensation problems. Prepare records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions. Prepare and submit requests for supplies for van stock. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner including workorder, quote requests and weekly timesheets. Have general mechanical and light electrical capability is a plus. Be available and willing to travel and work overtime, when necessary.

    Follow all pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures, and safety regulations to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.

    Maintain all company tools, equipment, and company vehicle and have own hand tools. RequirementsKEY CHARACTERISTICS Integrity in all interactions with customers and team members. Excellent work ethic. Team player. Strong mechanical aptitude. Some knowledge of HVAC fundamentals is a plus. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Trade school education a plus. HVAC Experience is a plus Computer literate with the ability to navigate software programs via a tablet or smartphone. Must have a clean driving record.
