    Microsoft Power Platform enables our customers to create and share visually stunning and behavior-rich mobile and web apps without writing code.

    Apps built with our technology leverage the power of cloud data and services, user information, device signals, image and video processing to become truly "magical".

    Our team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

    This role will be responsible for Power Fx, Microsoft's new low-code language based on Excel, which provides a low-code language engine for a variety of business products.

    In our team,we find natural ways to express business domains via low-code formula concepts. The tech is similar in complexity to a full-scale compiler.


    As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of end to end experiences of Power Platform large-scale services.

    This role is accountable for the features from development to production, focusing on automated tests to enable continuous delivery at scale.

    Responsibilities

    We aim to build a reliable Business Apps SaaS service that is natively built on Microsoft's Azure cloud infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:
    We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build the front-end components needed to ensure a successful Power Fx story for our customers


    This includes working on:
    Power FX formula bar and other react controls
    Standalone web sites
    Jscript library implementation of Power Fx.
    Blazor / WASM support for running C# code in the browser.

    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    OR equivalent experience.
    3+ years software development experience in TypeScript / React / NPM.


    Other Requirements:
    Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

    These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

    Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

    This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with Blazor and web assembly
    Ability to stand up a fully operational website in Azure, complete with authentication.
    Experience with C#,designing REST APIs and website profilers
    Experience with architecting and developing scalable solutions

    Software Engineering IC- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year.

    There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
