The Office Manager at Shawnee United Methodist Church plays a vital role in supporting our vision to Connect, Equip, and Restore in the name of Jesus Christ.++This position ensures efficient office operations and impactful communication both internally and externally.+
+Key Responsibilities: Office Administration; Workflow Management Serve as the first point of contact for the church via phone, email, and in person Manage church calendar and facility use scheduling Maintain up-to-date records and files for membership and church administration Order and track office and ministry supplies Maintain and update church membership database and email groups Process mail, file forms maintain key logs perform other administrative tasks Worship & Program Support Serve as backup in design weekly worship bulletins slides multiple services Coordinate printing folding bulletins other worship materials Provide clerical support for church programs events Communications Design Design print digital materials events ministries campaigns Create schedule social media posts Maintain update church website event listings Assist with email communications backup scheduling email newsletters Ensure consistency visual branding messaging platforms Financial Facility Support Track office purchases expenses Coordinate with facility vendors supplies services Assist scheduling building maintenance service visits needed Staff Leadership Support Support pastoral program staff clerical logistical needs Assist preparing reports materials leadership teams Help maintain updated contact information communication tools staff Assist hospitality preparation meetings special events Required Competencies Skills Excellent people skills welcoming friendly Proficiency word processing Google Workspace presentation tools e.g. PowerPoint Google Slides social media management platforms e.g. Facebook YouTube Experience Canva graphic design platforms Strong written verbal communication skills High level of organization attention detail Ability manage multiple tasks meet deadlines Comfort working independently collaboratively faith-based environment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity church environments nonprofit administration Experience Planning Center software Working knowledge website platforms Benefits Competitive salary commensurate experience Two weeks paid vacation increasing length service Paid holidays annually Flexible supportive work environment Additional Information This position is part-time Lima OH campus Shawnee United Methodist Church equal opportunity employer welcomes applicants all backgrounds identities Job Type Part-time Pay $17 per hour Expected hours week Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location In-person +
