    As the Business Development Director, you will spearhead training and collaboration efforts within our client's specific organization and across the enterprise to elevate client value and growth objectives. With a proven track record in similar roles, you'll possess a deep understanding of markets, clients, partners, competition, and internal dynamics to drive client acquisition, retention, and utilization of services across current and prospective client bases.

    Leveraging existing strong client relationships, you'll devise and execute strategies to deepen these connections and forge new ones. Success will be gauged by metrics such as lead generation, acquisition, increased service growth, and average client spend. Your responsibilities will include strategic development initiatives such as account and market planning, as well as engagement activities like presentations, meetings, calls, emails, and marketing campaigns. Clear alignment on goals and measurement criteria is paramount for accountability and success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with current and future clients and own and drive development goals.
    • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our technical team and our platform sales team.
    • Collaborating with the technical team to discover and personally develop opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Proactively engage active and dormant clients and new target prospects through calls, emails, and other marketing and networking campaigns to increase average spend.
    • Working with the marketing and sales team to acquire new clients through referrals, inquiries, and presentations (Qualify and convert leads from marketing and sales campaigns)
    • Creating and expanding new industry relationships and existing network
    • Contribute to sales planning and strategy.
    • Managing the CRM database.

    Education and/ or Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience (architectural or engineering background a plus)
    • 5-10 years of experience in the AEC industry, with a proven strategic business development role
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    • This is a hybrid position, assuming 3 days in the office on average after the initial training period which may require more in-office time.
