The System Test Engineer II develops and executes System Test Plans for small unmanned air vehicles missilesPosition Responsibilities
- Support developmental test evaluation of sub system model scale full scale testing Assist Flight Test Director during flight tests Determine communicate subsystem system flight test objectives Develop test cards verify those objectives met Review System Requirement documents ensure requirements concise testable Participate in test flight readiness reviews briefs posttest debriefs Ensure test assets prepared support testing proper configuration product hardware software writing cards procedures maintaining equipment Process analyze data determine results Analyze large data sets using tools MATLAB Excel Capture activities fill in sheets transfer telemetry files network Enter failures anomalies issue tracking database Summarize activities results reports Determine regression requirements based specific modifications Develop ad hoc tests troubleshoot failures Responsible estimating time required conduct testing completing assigned tasks project schedule Work outside labs assist technicians testing required Receives general instructions routine work more detailed new projects Works within specific complete tasks moderate supervision Exercises judgment defined procedures practices appropriate action Contributes meeting project cost schedule Applies policies procedures resolve issues Typically performs multiple one project Completes within budget Other duties assigned
