    Description
    General Summary


    Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel.


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Stock room attendant carts with supplies.
    • Rotate linens in storerooms.
    • Maintain shelf organization in the storerooms.
    • Replenish storeroom supplies.
    • Remove trash and dirty linens from room attendant's carts.
    • Clean furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as lobby, pool and public restrooms.
    • Sweep and vacuum floors, hallways and stairwells.
    • Set-up and breakdown of conference rooms/meeting space as necessary.
    • Report all lost and found articles to management.
    • Report maintenance problems or complete work repair orders.
    • Spot clean walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
    • Deliver special requests items such as cribs and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
    • Pick up trash from parking lot and garden areas.
    • Adhere to all fire, safety and security procedures according to company policies.
    • Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities.
    • Respond to requests from guest for assistance and provide information about the local area.
    • Perform additional assignments as required.

    Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry and pull up to 75 lbs.
    • Requires reaching overhead, climbing, crouching, and twisting.
    • Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
