We help independent insurance agents service the needs of their clients and help them find insurance solutions that fit the needs of those clients.     Job Summary

    This role supports agencies and agents in all aspects of health insurance including under age 65, Medicare, group, and ancillary products such as vision, dental, hospital indemnity, travel etc.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Being familiar with market information as to what current programs are being offered by our carriers, keep current on new products as they are introduced or any changes to current product
    • Working with agents to provide product training
    • Work with carriers on behalf of the agent for unresolved issues internally and externally
    • Support the sales team as agents work through the onboarding process
    • Assist and guide agents with renewal and certification processes
    • Utilize & demonstrate third party & carrier technology platforms IFC provides to agents and employers
    • Attend conferences and training seminars
    • Use company Agency Management System
    • Must be willing to become licensed in Health and Life, maintain AHIP
    • Assist and train agents with group renewal processes including quoting for multiple carriers

    Primary Skills & Requirements:

    • College degree or equivalent experience
    • Working knowledge of Individual, Medicare, and Small Group Health plan products, regulations and processes
    • Previous Insurance sales experience is preferred but not required
    • Customer service skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written
    • Ability to problem solve and research information
    • Positive and solution oriented
    • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Organized and can prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
    • Must possess proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Window-based applications
    • Proven to be highly dependable and self-motivated
    • Is curious and able to ask probing questions to obtain necessary information
    • Able to work across time zones with remote agents and team members
