- Maintain accurate accounting systems, records, and standards
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures for the accounting process
- Assist with monthly and year end closings for multiple companies
- Manage the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for multiple companies
- Review accruals and other balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy
- Account for fixed assets and performs monthly lease liability analysis
- Perform monthly quality checks to ensure no items are missed before final results are published
- Work with controller and operations to develop and evaluate budgets and business plans
- Utilize EPM/Hyperion financial reporting for trend/variance analysis
- Utilize financial data and analysis to assist operations with problem solving and decision-making processes
- Maintain proper internal controls in accordance with accepted accounting standards
- Assist with site audits to ensure financial and operational processes are functioning as intended
- Perform special projects, studies and other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of three to five years of accounting experience
- Strong cost and general accounting skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems, Oracle experience preferred
- Critical thinking and analytical skills that reflect ability to analyze a broad range of issues and provide solutions
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prepare compelling presentations
- Ability to work cross functionally and reach win-win solutions
- Experience in related industry (construction, manufacturing, logistics) with job costing experience a plus
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Excel
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats including individually and in group settings
- Ability to Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
