    Description
    A client is looking for a Structural Engineer III to work for their growing team.

    They will perform structural analysis of low complexity on existing communication structures (including guyed, self-supporting, monopoles, mounts, rigging plans, rooftops, platform designs, site compounds and their foundations) and prepares formal, written reports detailing structural capacity and recommendations for modifications needs to increase capacity.

    The Structural Engineer supports more experienced engineers in the analysis of more complex structures and in the design of modifications to existing telecommunications infrastructure.

    The incumbent will also assist more experienced engineers in the review of field inspections on non-complex towers and will work with the experienced engineer to recommend remediation requirements for less complicated issues.

    Review requests for engineering services to determine that adequate information is provided to complete service.
    Review tower structures and foundations for existing, proposed and reserved tenant configurations.
    Review of mount analysis, rigging plans, construction drawings and pre/post inspection reports.
    Conduct periodic site visits to ensure to proper implementation of engineering designs.
    Work with existing processes to correctly open analysis projects.
    Perform analyses on projects of low complexity using hand calculations, structural analysis software and other accepted methods.
    Assist in design of modifications for telecommunication infrastructure reinforcing, extensions and foundations.
    Work with Designer staff on the development of modification drawings.
    Ensure accurate project status reporting to facilitate accurate customer and sales reporting.
    Adhere to applicable Quality Control procedures.
    Generate required engineering reports.

    Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs as needed.

    Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
    Communicate closely with construction group

    Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
    EIT (Engineer In Training) or EI (Engineering Intern) certifications
    PE (Professional Engineer) or SE (Structural Engineer) certification or close to obtaining
    Specific experience within telecom or working on building rooftop projects
    Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
    o Structural focus (bridge or building NOT environmental or land development)
    Experience with steel structural analysis and knowledge of software
    o TnxTower telecom specific used for tower/structural analysis
    o RISA 3D or Bentley STAAD used for antenna/mount analysis
    Telecom experience *** Self-motivated and a go getter mentality
