Responsibilities
- Supervises associates to include staffing training coaching performance management and problem resolution assists in scheduling ensuring deliveries pickups are made timely rides with drivers for training evaluation purposes assists Transportation Operations Manager overall day-to-day administration transportation delivery functions which may include calculating driver payroll reviewing driver trip logs expense reports identifying resolving problems ensuring drivers compliant DOT OpCo regulations operates computer keyboard enter access data automated fleet management system ensures drivers fulfill duties safely monitoring vehicle safety usage ramps handcarts seat weight belt use safe lifting product-handling practices coordinates tracking relevant information on drivers license status traffic tickets accidents risk safety-related data ensures accurate completion all delivery driver-related paperwork including invoices cash receipts collection register trip reports fuel tickets deposit slips DOT logs Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports DVIR driver qualification files accident reporting ensures maintenance trucks tractors trailers detailed review post-trip inspections works conjunction Transportation Operations Manager minimize operating expenses ensure all deliveries efficiently routed performs other related duties assigned.
