In a world of possibilities pursue one with endless opportunities imagine next at Parsons you can imagine a career where you thrive work with exceptional people and be yourself guided by our leadership vision of valuing people embracing agility and fostering growth we cultivate an innovative culture that empowers you to achieve your full potential unleash your talent and redefine whats possible job description our Parsons Corona California office is now hiring for a Senior Supervising Engineer to integrate the various engineering scheduling procurement construction and start up aspects for various road highway and transportation infrastructure projects in Southern California this role will support multiple Gold Line 2B2 Caltrans RCTC METRO and other traditional and regional Design Build projects in California and other regions as well You may manage a subtask of a significantly large and complex project or study in accordance with contractual obligations responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines procurement of materials and equipment and construction planning assistance education experience over several years must be sufficient for the incumbent to serve as a Supervising Engineer on a large project or several smaller projects relocation to project site region may be required at times We offer hybrid remote working scenario for this role meaning ability to work from home 1-2 days per week This role does require reporting to our Corona office weekly what you ll be doing supervises group engineers design personnel directs technical engineering assignments coordinates project staffing assignments ensures discipline design work coordinated with project staff Engineers from other disciplines maintains clear frequent communications reviews work produced ensure applicable codes standards procedures followed quality acceptable monitors productivity technical proficiency assigned personnel makes staffing assignments reassignments as project needs arise helps define discipline design organization participation on project scope work design criteria schedules standards procedures determines budget estimates staffing requirements defined scope schedule promotes technical excellence on project furthering Quality Improvement Process advises Engineering Project Management regarding problem areas staffing requirements delays production scope changes events effect project completion profitability initiates reviews change order requests additions deletions changes original scope work ensures adequate checking performed discipline checking policy procedures maintains affiliation professional societies keep abreast current technologies performs responsibilities associated position appropriate what required skills bring A four year degree Civil Engineering related field required fifteen years more related field engineering experience road highway infrastructure projects broad general background California Professional PE registration required Must possess thorough knowledge current technology able select apply appropriate engineering software use on project proven ability perform supervisory capacity excellent written oral communications skills thorough knowledge industry practices regulations what desired skills bring Proficiency utilizing AutoCAD Civil MicroStation OpenRoads desirable security clearance requirement None position part Critical Infrastructure team For more than eighty years experts designed delivered critical infrastructure connects protects communities around world We collaborate teams within company partners customers plan design build modernize infrastructure take special pride projects solutions improve communities peoples quality life promoting economic growth enhancing mobility increasing sustainability resilience Powered imagination necessary support customers visions help them see whats next salary range twelve hundred twenty seven thousand four hundred
