    Description


    Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Trusted Microelectronics Division (GXV) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

    The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.

    This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).

    Responsibilities You will serve as Supply Chain Research Lead assigned by the GXVR Branch Manager in coordination with the Supply Chain Technical Lead (SCTL).

    You will ensure that project tasking is executable and that data requirements are clearly defined.

    You will provide assistance for the assignment of the Research Team Leads and/or Research Data Analysts for each data type.

    You will contribute as a Research Team Lead (RTL) as the subject matter expert for specific data types in regards to research processes and deliverable content associated within their subject areas.

    You will be responsible for peer review of all analytical reports.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
    providing technical guidance and expertise in the research, development, testing, and analysis of Information Technology (IT) software systems.

    Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas:
    attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Education Additional Information This position is a Cyber Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain qualifications in accordance with DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program, February 15, 2023 and supporting Department of Navy policies, for work role 661 proficiency level Intermediate within 9 months of appointment. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
