    Description

    Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a *Building Engineer* to its team.

    This role will work in *Wheat Ridge, CO *and *works Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. *This is a *contract to hire role* that pays *$27-29 per hour.
    • Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.
    *Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day maintenance operations at industrial and healthcare sites, including HVAC systems, general equipment, and refrigeration units.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks as needed to ensure the reliability and safety of facility systems.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair projects.
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
    • Drive between sites as needed (approximately few times a week) using company-provided van.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
    *Must-Haves:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Minimum of four years of related experience in industrial maintenance or healthcare building management.
    • Additional certification in one or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
    *Nice-to-Haves:
    • Universal CFC certification.
