- Define customer needs, security protection requirements including cyber resiliency needed to reduce mission / business / organizational risk to an acceptable level
- Assist with achieving required security functionality early in the systems' development lifecycle, documenting requirements.
- Apply knowledge of regulations and policies related to Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security, including NIST (SP Volumes 1 and 2, NIST SP , DHS Information Technology Strategy, DHS Zero Trust Strategy in designing secure solutions
- Conduct design, synthesis, and system validation while considering the goals of the acquisition program
- A bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field of study from a fully accredited institution
- Must have a minimum of 18 years of related experience (or 13 with a Masters degree), which may include systems security, cyber / information security, systems engineering, and government acquisition programs
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support and manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- An understanding of DHS/CBP processes and organizational structure is highly desirable
- Experience with government acquisition process preferred
