    Description
    Insight Global is looking for a I&E Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturing client located in Pasadena, Tx.

    This person will be joining a team of 5 including 4 Maintenance Engineers and reporting up to the Maintenance Superintendent.

    This person will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the continuous improvement of the Plants maintenance systems, instrumentation, mechanical integrity, and equipment reliability.

    This role will be responsible for developing an I&E Technician training, preform root cause analysis on I&E system failures and propose corrective actions.

    This person will be developing and implementing processes and actions to minimize and ideally eliminate instrumentation failures by altering system standards and specifications, inspecting and modifying current and previous repair procedures and innovating an I&E training program or applicable documents that could assist the Technicians.

    This position requires this person to be on call for any emergencies that may potentially occur at the Plant but will participate in a rotating schedule with other team members.

    This role is onsite at the Pasadena site M-F with regular business hours starting at 7:30am and offering a 9/80 schedule.

    Experience working in SAP

    Chemical Manufacturing Experience
    7+ years of experience with I&E Engineering in an Chemical Manufacturing Plant

    Degree from an ABET accredited University

    3+ years of experience with Process Instrumentation Troubleshooting

    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

    Proficient Microsoft Excel & Word Skills

    Experience reading P&IDs and equipment drawings

    Experience with Project Safety Management

    Experience with Risk Analysis

    Experience with Process Hazard Analysis
