Job summary
The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for executing specialty pharmacy workflow and managing all components of the prescription process under the direction of the Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician and the Pharmacist in Charge.- Follow pharmacy procedures as outlined in the Pharmacy Technician Task List Roles and Responsibilities manual.
- Obtain financial assistance and file claims retroactively to apply grant to respective prescriptions resulting in patient financial responsibility.
- Maintain A/R balances by sending statements, posting payments, and communication with patients as necessary
