Our client located in Toledo is seeking a SAP Functional Lead, Finance to join their growing team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
• Manage the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, system design, testing, training, and deployment.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using SAP Finance functionality.
• Lead workshops and discussions with business users to define future-state business processes and configure SAP system to support those processes.
• Evaluate SAP standard functionality and recommend custom solutions or enhancements as needed to address gaps in functionality.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of SAP Finance modules.
• Establish and maintain governance processes for SAP Finance module, including change management, release management, and system documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance module implementation and support
• Prior experience in Accounting/Finance
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, and FSCM, with hands-on experience in configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
