Job summary
This position is responsible for performing advanced and complex clerical accounting/financial functions under limited supervision including record keeping and reporting for a multitude of accounts. Performs research reconciliations of accounts responds to inquiries from divisions outside vendors or contractors processes check requests checks in accordance with tight deadlines.Responsibilities
- Sets up new accounts based on established guidelines tracks activity of current accounts budgets maintains awareness of account balances ensures expenses do not exceed budget income constraints notifies department head divisions supervisor same reviews check requests determines appropriate type of payment format based on variety established guidelines receives processes checks deposit into appropriate accounts verifies funding prior submitting check requests approval ensures paperwork submitted accurate proper order including account numbers transfers funds between accounts approved performs extensive often complex research reconciliation account responds inquiries divisions outside vendors contractors processes check requests checks accordance tight deadlines
