    As the production manager, you will be responsible for making sure production remains on schedule on shoots and in post-production.

    Day-to-day duties include working with the film crew, talent, students, and arranging schedules, travel, and other production needs for everyone.

    Tracking the film budgets and schedules is the primary focus of the production manager.

    It will be your responsibility to communicate all potential setbacks to the other producers and the director of creative content.

    In this role you will work with the awards and recognition team to submit to film festivals and rack awards and recognition status.

    Additional responsibilities include assisting and trafficking project assets, delegating work to production assistant's and student staff, executing vendor contracts and set up, invoice processing, and maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.

    The ideal candidate is a professional who oversees all operations of film production from start to finish.

    They are tasked to organize all the necessary needs of a production staff, handle project budgets, prepare documents, assist in daily production tasks, and ensure the production schedules are met on time and on budget.

    They should have an expertise in generating and driving schedules with a basic understanding of the video/editorial production process. They should have a proactive approach and can-do attitude.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and creative needs
    • Motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and within a group
    • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who can multitask and perform successfully within a fast-paced production environment
    • Knowledge and experience with digital file formats, computer literate
    • At least three years of production or media company experience and a familiarity with all media file types

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative SuiteTravel required:
    • Less than 10%

    Work Hours:

    • The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
