    Description

    Job Title: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Weekend Option

    This role performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to investigate or diagnose conditions affecting soft tissue, such as tumors or brain disorders.

    Responsibilities

    • Operates high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts.
    • Reviews patient medical histories to determine appropriate imaging parameters for accurate results.
    • Maintains advanced MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular maintenance checks.
    • Collaborates with medical professionals during MRI procedures, providing real-time imaging support.
    • Records and documents all MRI scans and associated information in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
    • ARRT (MR), MRI Technologist ARMRIT(MR)
    • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross, or AHA Healthcare Provider
