- The Distillery Production Associate is responsible for supporting daily distillery and warehouse operations including raw material preparation, spirits handling, bottling, packaging, and inventory support.
- This role requires sound judgment, strong work ethic, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment. On-the-job training is provided for facility-specific processes, safety procedures, and equipment.
- Production work may support both Brain Brew-owned brands and contract packaging partners.
- What You'll Do
- Production & Packaging Operations
- Execute bottling, labeling, packaging, and palletizing of finished goods
- Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment according to established procedures
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with product standards
- Prepare and stage raw materials for production runs
- Assist with barrel handling, wood preparation, and liquid transfers
- Measure, document, and track liquid movements accurately
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies
- Break down pallets and maintain organized inventory storage
- Equipment & Warehouse Operations
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment following facility training and certification
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and production protocols consistently
- Identify and communicate operational issues or material discrepancies promptly
- Operational Execution & Team Coordination
- Prioritize tasks to meet production timelines
- Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure smooth workflow
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, safety, and consistent execution
- Perform additional production or warehouse duties as assigned
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in warehouse, production, or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and use sound judgment
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small, hands-on operational team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or tracking systems
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Experience in distillery, brewery, winery, food production, or manufacturing environments
- Prior forklift experience (facility-specific training and certification provided on site)
- Experience leading or training others in an operational setting
- This role operates primarily within a production and warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold warehouse conditions seasonally
- Occasional outdoor work
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment, forklifts, pallets, and barrels
