    Google Home and Health Sales Team - Channel Sales and Activation

    Area Description:

    The Devices and Services Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google's software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers, energy providers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel Phones, Google Nest Thermostat, Google Wifi, Google Nest Chromecast and Fitbit.

    The Home and Health Team focuses on all Google Nest and Fitbit products across all channels primarily with a mission to enable value-added distribution with Business to Business Partners, drive unique programs, channel differentiation and optimize operations to scale our business.

    Role Description:

    In the role of Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of Google's products and services for both top tier and long tail Energy, Professional, and Enterprise partners. These partners could include electric and gas utilities, energy program implementers, HVAC pros, and e-commerce platforms, among others. You will execute a playbook for our channel activation strategy for new product introductions, promotions, and key sales enablement initiatives, with a focus on the Google Nest smart home suite of products. You are ultimately tasked with being an expert for our B2B2C channels and leading the end-to-end activation of our sales enablement activities directly and indirectly.

    This role is highly cross functional and will work closely with key members of internal and external Nest Energy Sales teams, marketing teams, and 3rd party agencies. You will be a key point of contact for various cross-functional stakeholders at Google.

    Responsibilities:
    • Execute channel activation activities across Sales Programs, Go-to-Market (GTM)and partner marketing activities.
    • Draft briefs for 3rd Party agencies and coordinate reviews through to deployment of assets
    • Collaborate across Channel Sales & Activation and Google marketing to execute Google owned and partner-led marketing, develop B2B assets and training materials.
    • Streamline and execute processes for new product introduction and promotional execution across sales team, B2B partners, and field sales team.
    • Lead awareness and adoption of Google Nest thermostats for both top tier and long tail Nest Energy partners including utilities and program implementers (B2B and B2B2C).
    • Build engaging and impactful omni-channel marketing campaigns for Nest Energy channels and online marketplaces that leverage Google hardware and services.
    • Develop and execute playbook strategies for seasonal moments, promotions and new product introductions. This includes budget management and tracking performance outcomes
    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 5-7 years of experience in Sales Enablement or Marketing
    • Strong B2C marketing background
    • Experience with developing and executing full funnel omni channel marketing plans
    • Experience with project management, CRM, social platform management
    • Experience partnering with sales, cross functional teams, and external partners successfully
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Taking lead and thriving in ambiguity and the unknown
    • Passionate about bridging gaps and solving problems
    • Ability to execute various marketing projects as directed
    • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, good communicator who puts the customer first, problem solver, self-starter
    • Experience in the Energy industry-particularly with electric or gas utilities, residential programs, energy efficiency, or demand response-is preferred but not required
    • Experience in Professional Install Industries (HVAC, Custom Integrator, Security, Electrical) on the wholesaler or Pro Business side is preferred but not required
    • Experience with e-commerce is preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with Google Nest smart home products, particularly Nest thermostats and clean energy
    • B2B, B2C, and B2B2C experiences preferred but not required
