    • Electrical Engineering Co-op Fall 2024 (May to Dec)

    Position Overview
    This position is part of our Transmission System Protection team.

    This team is responsible for ensuring the protection of the Transmission Electrical Grid in Ameren's Service territory by using protective devices which open circuits as necessary to remove faults from the system.

    As a co-op you will assist other engineers with a variety of projects. Co-ops get experience with databasing information, working with relays and problem-solving various issues that arise on a daily basis.

    Location
    This position reports to our headquarters in Downtown St. Louis, MO.

    If you are selected for an intern or co-op position, please note that Ameren does offer a housing stipend to interns and co-ops who are temporarily relocating, if minimum housing stipend requirements (living & attending school 50+ miles away from your working location) are met.


    Qualifications

    Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university required with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

    Completed coursework in Power Engineering is strongly preferred.
