    Grow your career with an innovative global bank in New York City, NY as a Program Manager with strong financial Markets knowledge. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • 7 - 9+ years of proven experience delivering complex projects/programs.
    • Must have Markets knowledge (e.g., risk and controls, equities, fixed income, trade lifecycle, products, etc.).
    • Extremely detail oriented and ability to both investigate deeply into content of the material but also look across the portfolio.
    • Experience managing inter-department dependencies (e.g., working with Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, etc.).
    • Experience with regulatory programs, risk & controls.
    • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.
    • Strong skills in MS Excel and working with large data sets.
    • Experience creating PowerPoint decks for senior-level management.
    • Proficiency in Word and MS Project.
      What You Will Be Doing
      • Prepare concise Markets activity/progress reports adjusted to the audience.
      • Provide check and challenge on activity/progress reports by other functions.
      • Utilize best practice PMO methodology (e.g., maintain plans, risk and issues, etc.) that fit stakeholders needs.
      • Drive end results of the project as a representative of Markets.
      • Facilitate remediation-related engagement with the Markets product lines.
      • Proactively track project progress against goals.
      • Knowledge, skills and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming.
      • Clearly articulate problems, bringing the right people together to solve problems and knowing when it has been properly addressed and closed.
      • Promote partner involvement through effectively communicating project status across a varied set of stakeholders.
      • Define, teach, and enforce the use of good project management practices (i.e., resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled).
