    Description

    Summary



    This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

    About the Position: Serves as Chief, A/E Management Section, Engineering Branch.



    Duties

    • Serves as the District's senior technical/engineering representative in A/E contract management.
    • Prepares task orders in compliance with government Architect-Engineer (A/E) contracting laws and regulations.
    • Plans A/E work assignments, establishes priorities, sets completion dates, sets goals and monitors work progress evaluating outcomes.
    • Serves as technical and administrative manager for A/E contracting in coordination with the Contracting Officer.
    • Responsible for personnel management actions (i.e. approving leave, performance appraisals, counsels employee on problems, recommending personnel actions, promotions, training plans, etc.)
