We are actively seeking Boat Manufacturing Plant Managers to oversee all operations of pontoon boat and fiberglass boat production, including center consoles, deck boats, and bass boats.

General Duties:

• Oversee operations of Pontoon Manufacturing Production Managers and their staff.
• Oversee operations of Fiberglass Boat Manufacturing Production Managers and their staff.
• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs.
• Be accountable for production output, quality, and on-time shipping.
• Allocate resources effectively and optimize productivity.
• Implement strategies aligned with company goals and provide clear direction.
• Monitor operations and take corrective actions as needed.
• Build a trusting relationship with the team and oversee staff development.
• Analyze data to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Ensure plant safety procedures are followed.
• Develop systems to track productivity and standards effectively.
• Address employee concerns and manage collective bargaining agreements.
• Stay informed about the latest production management best practices.
• Required Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a boat plant production manager.
• Familiarity with fiberglass lamination process and/or aluminum boat assembly.
• Strong managerial experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Proficiency in industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Understanding of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
• Excellent team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
• BS degree in Business Management or Process Engineering.
