    Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking to fill a Director - Investments position and is seeking a motivated, organized and task oriented individual.

    This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of Waldron's investment process and service delivery which will include significant client relationship management and investment management responsibilities for assigned clients.


    In This Role You Will:
    Act as the Service Advisor on clients' relationships which is defined as:
    Accountable for internal execution of items necessary for service delivery.
    Delivering advice directly to the client independently or in conjunction with the Lead Advisor.
    Play a significant role in relationship management.

    Manage the activities and execution of the investment functions for clients with combined AUM between $200M and $1B who are assigned to their team.

    Identify and oversee execution of strategic initiatives that provide value to clients, the investment team and the firm.
    Communicate with clients regarding portfolio strategies, performance and the market environment.
    Manage and develop relationships with client key stakeholders (e.g. family office, attorneys, accountants, etc.).
    Coordinate and collaborate with all firm departments to develop a holistic plan for client engagements. Provide top level investment concierge service to existing clients. Develop and monitor custom portfolio strategies.
    Act as the Lead Advisor on a select number of client relationships which is defined as:
    Responsible for the service and technical execution of the client relationship.
    Accountable for the actions of the other service team members assigned to a client engagement.
    Viewed by the client as "the authority" for their family's finances.
    Accountable for the retention of assigned clients.
    Approve trading and rebalancing recommendations.
    Contribute to and provide a sounding board for the firm's due diligence process. Oversee the due diligence process for new and existing investment strategies.
    Establish the due diligence and manager selection criteria.
    Develop and maintain relationships with strategic investment management partners.
    Coordinate and manage investment research. Evaluate investment offerings (e.g. usage, flow, overlap, etc.) and research complimentary new offerings.

    Create strategic and tactical investment macro allocations, evaluate and enhance allocations as needed, as well as build and identify the best implementation instruments.

    Communicate with prospective clients, centers of influence and other relationships to drive new business.
    Take on a leadership role in decision making on investments.
    Requirements

    Ability to travel 15-20% of the time to sites beyond the corporate office required.
    Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
    Minimum of six (6) years of wealth management or investment experience required. Eight (8) years preferred.
    Minimum of one (1) year of experience supervising and/or mentoring a team of investment analysts preferred.
    Passed CFP, CFA (Level III), CPA or another approved advanced credential.
    Series 65 or obtained within three (3) months required unless regulatory exemption is granted.
