    Full-time position available immediately at HJ Holtz and Son, a reputable residential painting contractor in Richmond, VA, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Operations Assistant to join our team.

    The Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in our company, so it is vital to find someone who aligns with our values. If you excel at independent work and are recognized for your organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer focus, please continue reading or share this opportunity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Customer Support:
      • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
      • Process and schedule all requests for estimates received via phone, online, or email.
      • Provide support throughout the lead process, including appointment setting and pre-qualifying.
      • Assist customers in a friendly and confident manner, addressing their needs effectively.
      • Collaborate with colleagues to provide project support and information as needed.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using cloud-based applications to manage information efficiently.

    • Self-control, time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Resilience in facing adversity.
    • Comfortable working independently.
    • Fair treatment of others, regardless of personal beliefs.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in administration or customer service preferred.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based software and willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Completion of a provided DISC Assessment.

    Schedule:

    • 40 hours per week
    • Preferred hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • On-site work location

    Compensation:

    • $22.00 per hour

    Benefits:

    • 5 days of accrued PTO, 6 paid holidays, Paid Birthday leave
    • Health Insurance Contribution towards company plan
