    POSITION VISIONStrategically leverage WBD product portfolio to sell and service assigned accounts across the off-premise channel of trade in order to grow our business.

    QUANTIFIABLE POSITION OBJECTIVES1. Achieve established WBD volume and distribution goals.2. Adhere to WBD retail and quality standards while upholding delivery schedule.3. Consistently demonstrates WBD core values.

    QUALITATIVE POSITION OBJECTIVES1. Understand the market drivers that may impact WBDs business.2. Assist customers in maximizing their sales and profitability.3. Execute WBD sales and marketing strategies and objectives.4. Execute personal development initiatives as set forth by the Chain Sales Supervisor.5. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.6. Must comply with all training requirements, ie. I Sell Beer.

    PLANNING AND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT1. Assist in determining where WBD needs to improve sustainable market share while focusing on strategic execution.2. Work with Sales Rep and Supervisor to establish specific objectives.3. Ensure WBD priorities are maintained as defined by Management.

    CUSTOMER RELATIONS1. To provide best in class customer service aligned with WBD quality and sales standards.2. Build and maintain a favorable reputation with all customers.3. Address customer concerns in a timely fashion, to maintain positive business relationships.

    SALES EXECUTION1. Follow the structured sales call frequency and sequence for all assigned accounts.2. Follow WBD 10 steps to a sales call.3. Execute against all company incentives and business objectives.4. Develop strong relationships with customers.5. Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities.6. Maintain WBD quality, retail and merchandising standards.7. Communicate all customer concerns with Sales Supervisor.8. Maintain all WBD equipment and report to supervisor/ IT manager with any concerns.9. Develop a strong knowledge of all WBD products.10. Must be proficient in calculating markup and margin.11. Execute Quality Audits assigned by management.12. Execute cooler resets when directed.

    MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


    • Education:
    • Minimum:
    High School Diploma.


    • Preferred:
    College Degree


    • Skills:
    • Minimum:
    Strong communication skills including verbal & written. Strong math skills and proficient in Microsoft office applications. Ability to work in a team environment at retail and with co-workers. Must maintain a professional attitude in all situations and represent WBD in a professional and responsible manner at all times


    • Preferred:
    Excellent communication and math skills


    • Experience:
    • Minimum:
    2 years in sales position


    • Preferred:
    Experience in Spirit and Beverage industry.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to drive for short or long distances. The employee must be able to use a WBD assigned electronic device.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONSExpected to represent brands across all Wright territories. Must be comfortable interacting with retail accounts. Exposed to all weather conditions due to amount of travel associated with position. Ability to drive to branch locations on regular basis as required.
    Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required.
    ADDITIONAL COMMENTSMust hold a valid, clean NYS drivers license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier with reliable transportation.
