    Overview:

    The Manager Talent Development is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies, policies, and programs that align with a companys business goals and support its talent retention, engagement and development objectives. This includes managing performance, employee engagement, leadership development and succession planning. The role works closely with the HR Business Partners to ensure effective executions of programs. This role is part of the HR Leadership team and reports to the CHRO.

    Responsibilities:

    Performance Management and Succession Planning:

    • Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems to evaluate employee performance, identify high performers, and address performance gaps. Partners with HRBP to ensure execution of system at the site level.
    • Develops and maintains succession and organizational capability process to ensure continuity and readiness for future leadership positions.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and career development conversation.

    Learning and Development Programs:

    • Partner with stakeholders to assess training needs and develop learning and development programs that align with organizational goals and individual career aspirations.
    • Establish Leadership Competency Model & build training plans for Leadership Skill Building, including facilitate leadership development programs, workshops, and coaching sessions to enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.
    • Establishes LMS course strategy for non-compliance training, partners with service delivery team to ensure effective execution.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in training and development, particularly within a manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
    • Prior experience leading succession planning efforts.
    • Experience managing training programs across multiple sites or locations.
    • Strong understanding of training methodologies, e-learning platforms, and effective teaching strategies.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to travel to different manufacturing sites as required.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
