    Position Summary:
    The Training Documentation Specialist develops, designs and ensures delivery of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for job specific roles and assists in developing, designing and ensuring delivery of the manufacturing plant's on-the-job training program. The Training Documentation Specialist facilitates the training and qualification process for manufacturing employees according to the company's guidelines to meet and/or exceed performance criteria to maximize business results.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Designs department specific SOP manuals, (i.e., training, educational, orientation, instruction) to include pictures, charts, graphics, and videos
    • Ensures delivery of job specific training SOP's
    • Coordinates and participates in new hire Onboarding and new Department Onboarding for current employees
    • Tracks and reports training status and completion on monthly basis
    • Maintain records of training documentation
    • Ensures understanding of training and effective transfer of knowledge and skills
    • Reviews current qualifications, skill sets and certification processes with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and makes recommended changes
    • Coordinates Train-the-Trainer programs utilizing SME's
    • Prepares documentation and materials necessary to perform training effectiveness validation and testing
    • Maintains and updates department-specific library consisting of reference materials, videos, publications, photos, etc
    • Performs validation of training effectiveness using tests, demonstrations and other methodologies
    • Takes appropriate action when violations to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) occur
    • or Process Controls are identified
    • Suggests and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
    • Collaborates cross-functionally and coordinates efforts around process improvement
    • Other projects or duties as assigned

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Three plus years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience training others
    • Strong organizational, problem solving, goal setting and planning skills
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills with all levels of the company
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Self-directed and motivated
    • Strong teamwork skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience working in food/beverage manufacturing
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing Food Safety & Quality, Safety and Security policies and guidelines
    • Knowledge of regulatory laws that affect employment/training including ADA
    • Able to climb stairs/steps
    • Able to stand a minimum of eight hours
