    St. Joseph Residence is looking for a full time ADON/Staff Development/Infection Control Coordinator to join our Nursing Administration Team.

    This position works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services to ensure RAI guidelines are followed with a focus on person-centered care.

    Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate staff development educational programs to include new hire orientation, staff in-services and on-the-job trainingAssure that all employees are informed, oriented and knowledgeable about job assignments, exposures and instructions needed to provide the highest quality of carePlan, develop, coordinate and direct the Infection Control ProgramEvaluate the quality of resident care and resident outcomes as related to healthcare-associated infectionsPresent infections data and make recommendations for corrective actionsMonitors employee compliance in use of barriers and infection prevention measuresProvide staffing coverage as requested to maintain appropriate staff ratiosShare 'on call' responsibility with other nurse managersRequirementsMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursingMust possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of New Hampshire and be in good standing with the NH Board of NursingMust have at least two years' experience as a supervisor in a healthcare facility, preferably in a long-term care settingMust be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that pertain to long-term careMust be CPR/BCLS and IV certifiedInteract professionally with residents, family members, visitors, staff and governmental agenciesMust be able to work with minimum of supervision; make independent decisions when circumstances warrantMust be able to read, write and speak English#J-18808-Ljbffr
