    Countryside Veterinary Services Job Description

    Countryside Veterinary Services is seeking to hire a full-time Small Animal Associate Veterinarian with the desire to join a progressive practice that is committed to developing relationships with our clients, as well as, providing exceptional patient care.

    We are a full service three doctor practice that is locally and privately owned.

    Our clinic is fully equipped with an Idexx in house lab suite, digital whole body and digital dental radiograph equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, Tonopen, digital otoscope, soft tissue and orthopedic surgical instrumentation, as well as, ImproMed Practice Management Software which includes electronic medical records.

    We perform routine annual wellness exams, as well as, a large variety of other soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our large client base, along with an excellent support team, provides for a fast paced and smooth working environment. There is no emergency or after-hours care. There are two after-hours emergency clinics within a 20-minute drive of the practice, along with the University of Georgia College of Veterinary
    Medicine which is 40 minutes from our practice if more advanced support and care is needed.

    4 day work week and every third Saturday

    AVMA and GVMA membership dues paid

    Health insurance

    Paid sick/vacation days with a minimum of two weeks

    Countryside Veterinary Services is located in Covington, GA, approximately 30 miles east of Atlanta. We are a well-established practice that has locally served the community since 1991.

    In addition to our small animal practice, we also have a 5 doctor Equine Practice that operates independently of the small animal facility.

    We have been recognized multiple times as one of the best practices in the area by the Walton Tribune. We are constantly striving to be on the cutting edge of technology while maintaining personalized patient care. We seek to create a bond with our patients and their owners.

    Job Requirements:
    Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

    Eligibility for a Georgia Veterinary State License

    Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience; however New Graduates are encouraged to apply
