- Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the Massachusetts State regulations.
- Language Ability: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Mathematical Skills: Must have basic math skills.
- Cognitive Demands: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must function independently and have flexibility and personal integrity.
- Computer Skills: Must have computer literacy in Microsoft products, and MAR/TAR software proficiency.
- Good judgment and decision making.
- Communication skills including the ability to communicate with residents, families and team members.
- Reliability including reporting to work as scheduled and on time, and completing assignments according to facility policy.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Nursing Assistant promotes quality of life and a home environment by knowing the residents and from the framework of that knowing providing assistance with activities of daily living, and other direct care to residents as outlined in the interdisciplinary care plan, guided by the facility policies and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
