JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Supervise and lead instrumentation commissioning technicians to ensure project completion and safety.
• Provide oversight, assign tasks, and coordinate activities.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB:

• Demonstrate safety awareness and leadership.
• Lead technical teams, plan work, and liaise with engineers and operations staff.
• Ensure expertise in system design and operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute systems tasks and reporting.
• Develop commissioning procedures.
• Lead a team of technicians on-site.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams.
• Manage Sub System packages and Punch Lists.
• Prepare job cards and safety analyses.
• Ensure work compliance with safety procedures.
• Read and interpret technical documentation.
• Identify necessary resources for tasks.
• Manage vendors and documentation.
• Prepare reports and analyze work problems.
• Follow procedures and communicate effectively.
• Coordinate activities across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate should have problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of offshore O&G facilities.
• Proficiency in various instrumentation systems.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, and control systems.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10 years experience in offshore Oil & Gas Completion and Commissioning roles. Supervisory experience required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Higher National Certificate in Engineering.
