Our client is a leading outpatient diagnostic imaging center located in Polk County, Florida, committed to delivering high-quality radiological services to their patients and healthcare providers. They are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team. If you have prior MRI experience, hold a valid Florida license, and are registered in MRI, we encourage you to apply. Position Overview: As an MRI Technologist with our client, you will play a vital role in their commitment to providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise and skills will ensure that their patients receive the highest level of care and comfort during their MRI examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

MRI Scans: Perform a variety of MRI scans and procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Explain the process and address any patient concerns.
Equipment Operation: Operate MRI equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions.
Imaging Quality: Ensure high-quality images by selecting appropriate imaging parameters and techniques.
Safety: Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure to radiation.
Documentation: Accurately record patient information, procedure details, and results in electronic medical records.
Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of MRI equipment.
Patient Comfort: Provide emotional support to patients who may experience claustrophobia or anxiety during MRI exams.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain and improve imaging standards.
