    In the Tax Operations Senior Manager role, you will partner with Tax, D&T, and cross functional finance teams to develop and gain alignment for all aspects of data collection and management for tax reporting, provision, accounting and any other compliance activities in the function.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Functional Responsibilities:
    Lead across all aspects of data management and technology capabilities for tax reporting, provision, accounting and any other compliance activities in the functionManage and drive global tax data centralization, automation, governance, reporting, management and global data request fulfillment for all tax areas ​Develop and manage tax data and operational governance strategy as well as tax data retention strategyManage and drive assessment of current tax technology tools and applications to recommend methods to enhance integration between tools, reduce costs, and optimize the use of technologyDevelop, maintain, and advocate for the Tax Technology Roadmap, planning for needs arising from changes in the external environment, internally-driven improvements, and ensuring Tax requirements are considered in enterprise initiativesOversee tax-owned technology capabilities, including setting the strategy, governance model and development plans for tools such as Alteryx and Tableau as deployed within Tax

    Management Responsibilities:

    Manage and lead Tax Operations teamCollaborate with director/senior manager peers to drive team initiatives and ensure the right prioritization of projects across the departmentDirect and manage work of external vendors that assist in tax work.

    Closely collaborate with other tax teams​, functional teams, global and regional business units to facilitate and manage data sourcing and integrationCollaborate with D&T on automation, data and technology improvement opportunities ​Design and implement process improvement and analytic initiatives to drive efficiency in data collection and reporting capabilities to various stakeholders​​​

    Peformance Metrics:
    Effective management of tax data sourcing and integrationEffective management and maintenance of tax technology tools and applicationsEffective collaboration with other teams to identify data management improvement opportunities


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, business management, technology or related fields ​At least 5 years minimum of combined tax operations, corporate tax, or corporate finance experienceAbility to operate independently and assess risk in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentStrong stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate complex tax technical topics to non-tax stakeholdersStrong communication, project management, and leadership skillsTechnical aptitude for data, process and systems


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, etc.) in tax, accounting, finance, business management, technology or related fields8+ years tax operations or corporate tax experience​​ with 3+ years of direct management experienceGlobal and cross-functional team leadership experienceKnowledge of tax technology and tax data management, including experience withAlteryx or similar automation toolset, corporate tax systems (CorpTax/OneSource), and data visualization toolsCOMPANY OVERVIEWWe exist to make food the world loves.
