    Roles and Responsibilities at Mercy

    In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. You are responsible for maintaining professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.

    Evaluation of overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers is also a key responsibility. Additionally, you will coordinate patient care with other departments as needed while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.

    Education and Certification Requirements

    • Must have graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
    • Possess current RN licensure within hiring state/compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and meet all state board requirements.
