    Responsibilities:


    Own and manage the accounting function on a portfolio of industrial assetsPrepare and enter journal entries in accordance with GAAPComprehend the CAM/true-up process, lease set ups and agreements, and onboarding process for new properties within the YARDI platformPrepare account reconciliations, analyze variances, including budget v.

    month-to-month actualsIndependently analyze and explain variances between the General Ledger and related systemsAssist in the preparation and review of property budgetsWork with relevant parties to manage the loan draw process and capital expendituresSubmit and review monthly sales tax transactions to relevant authoritiesYardi, the impact of these transactions on the general ledgerAssist in onboarding new properties as acquired, ensuring they roll up into the monthly reporting process, working with owners to facilitate true-up processRecommend process improvements where necessaryRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related, with 3-5 years experience in Property AccountingWorking knowledge of the YARDI platformStrong attention to detail, financial accuracy, and ability to prioritize workload according to deadlinesStrong communication skills, effectively communicates with related stakeholders such as Property ManagersHigh level of initiative, can work autonomously in a dynamic and changing environment
