    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a weekend day shift position requiring CA licensure and Epic experience.

    Responsibilities
    CT scan department in an acute care hospital setting

    Friday through Sunday schedule:
    Fridays 11:30 AM–10:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (3x10-hour shifts)
    No on-call or weekend call requirements beyond the scheduled shifts
    Competently performs routine and specialized CT procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
    Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise imaging procedures in a timely manner
    Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
    May assist with orienting other staff to the department
    Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
    Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
    Former employees of this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

    Requirements
    Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
    Active CA CRT license required (license required if applicable)
    Active CA Venipuncture license required
    Current BLS certification (AHA)
    Epic EMR experience preferred
    All certifications must be AHA-issued and in hand at time of consideration
    2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
    7-year work history verification required
