    Summary of Duties:

The College of Nursing at WSU Tri-Cities is currently seeking to fill three teaching career-track faculty positions. We are seeking applicants who are passionate about teaching and working with students in a variety of settings across the nursing programs that we offer. The College of Nursing at WSU Tri-Cities offers 1) Prelicensure BSN, 2) RN to BSN, 3) Masters of Nursing (MN), 4) Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner, 5) Doctor of Nursing Practice-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

We seek faculty with clinical expertise and scholarly focus that will contribute to our strengths in teaching nursing in the following areas: family practice, behavioral health, community health, pediatrics, obstetrics, acute care, and long-term care.

The College of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing to over 1,000 students system-wide at campuses and satellites in Spokane, Vancouver, Tri-Cities, and Yakima. News and World report consistently ranks our graduate programs among the top 40 in the U.S. with our DNP program currently ranked as #28 and our MN program ranked as 39. Our BSN pre-licensure program graduates more than 280 students annually and is the top producer of RNs in Washington. Our alumni and faculty are recognized for their contributions to research and scholarship, clinical practice, service and leadership at local, regional, state and national levels.

WSU Tri-Cities is committed to creating a student-ready campus, marked by academic excellence, career-connected learning, and social belonging. This commitment is informed by our belief that all students, faculty, and staff contribute value to our campus culture. We ascribe to an assets-based framework for understanding and celebrating difference and are deeply committed to closing equity gaps where they exist. We are proud that almost half of our students are first in their family to attend college and almost half of our students identify as students of color. We believe that this diversity is a great strength in the classroom and across the many co-curricular activities in which WSU Tri-Cities students participate and lead.
