    Reporting to the Managing/Senior Corporate Counsel, this role will round out a dynamic and growing legal team, serving as subject matter expert for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various strategic agreements and complex transactions.

    This role will provide regulatory guidance on various healthcare-related issues with a focus on Anti-kickback Statute (and related state statutes), Stark Law, Civil Monetary Penalties Law, and develop compliant solutions to to facilitate and promote One Medical's business objectives, including value-based care, care coordination, and clinical integration.

    You are hands-on, deeply engaged in your work, and able to effectively manage multiple projects and "ruthlessly" prioritize. If you are skilled in distilling complicated problems and driving practical solutions from ideation to implementation, demonstrate grace under pressure and are inspired by the idea of scaling your work to support a growing and innovative national primary care practice, we would love to hear from you
    Drafting, negotiating and administering contracts involving One Medical customers, employers, health system partners, network providers, payors, third party administrators, employers and vendors
    Provide regulatory and strategic guidance to internal clients, particularly the Commercial Contracting and Payor Contracting Teams
    Counsel business partners and other stakeholders on dispute resolution strategies related to payor, network or other strategic arrangements
    Expertly manage deals of varying complexity and subject to regulatory regimes
    Help grow the legal team or your skills to meet emerging opportunities and risks

    8+ years of experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements (including partnership agreements, managed care service agreements, participating provider agreements, program incentive agreements, provider network agreements revenue/sales contracts, and vendor agreements in the healthcare space).

    ~ Health care regulatory knowledge focusing on Fraud, Waste, and Abuse; Experience working at or with provider-facing healthcare companies or health plans
    ~ Comfort providing business and legal advice.
    ~ MPP/MPH or other advanced degree in health care policy or administration with your finger on the pulse of federal legislative/regulatory health care trends and proposed changes
