ResponsibilitiesEnsure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examinationConduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health historyClean and help protect patients' teethEducate patients regarding the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instruction and demonstration of effective oral hygiene methodsGive instructions to patients after operations and other dental proceduresTake X-rays and dental impressionsAssist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseasesMaintain documentation and charts on each patientClinical needs as required by officeClinical RequirementsMinnesota Licensure and current CPR certification in American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for the healthcare providerExcellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentationHigh degree of skill with hand instrumentationLocal anesthesia and root planningCertified to administer nitrous oxidePR CertificationPreferred ExperienceWe welcome new grads and experienced Hygienists
