    Key strategic and analytical analysis for managing CorSo's Transactional Liability portfolio with high exposure and direct interaction with external clients and senior CorSo leaders.

    About the Role:



    The CorSo transactional liability portfolio is a USD $200m GWP global portfolio that continues to grow. Its aspiration is to enable sustainable underwriting profitability by managing the relationship with our MGA partner, developing data analytics & insights, portfolio steering and developing FLVs based on macro economic trends.

    Key responsibilities include

  • Global steering and portfolio management in close collaboration with the Transactional Liability Portfolio Owner
  • Monitoring the portfolio and preparing reports out to senior management
  • Underwriting audit of the global MGA portfolio
  • Thinking strategically with team members across various company functions
  • About the Team:



    We are a global team with team members in US, Canada, Europe and Asia with specialties in underwriting, actuary, finance, claims, risk, operations and reinsurance. The team works together to devise a strategies to profitably grow the portfolio and manage risk.

    About You:



  • Detailed oriented and comfortable analyzing large sets of data and documents;
  • Interest in understanding actuarial data;
  • Dynamic personality who drives change and comfort in taking ownership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • The position is flexible to one of the following offices: New York City, NY, Chicago, IL, or Kansas City, MO or potentially other Swiss Re offices. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.

    For New York, the estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $192,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
